Well I had seen a few posts on converting a Samsung Mini to IR but i’d had an NX200 sitting on a shelf for about two years and i had no idea what to do with it, So I searched the internet and boom! somebody had put up a step by step guide to taking out the sensor filter to make it full spectrum. The NX200 isn’t as easy to convert as a mini but as long as you are careful then it is quite easy to do. I’ll include a link on how to convert your camera. Once the filter had been removed and the camera put back together it is just a case of setting the camera to black and white and adding a IR filter, I already had a 52mm IR720 filter so I just had to get a 40.5 to 52mm step up ring. I’ve taken a couple of test shots and they have come out better than expected!
